A Letter from Cyndie
I wrote Doodles' Picture Day Disaster because I believe in the magic of storytime — the way a simple book can bring a grandparent and grandchild together, create inside jokes that last for years, and turn an ordinary afternoon into a memory that sticks.
When I became a grandparent myself, I wanted to give something more than a toy or a gift card. I wanted to give an experience — something we could share together, laugh about together, and remember together.
That's how the Blue Smile Experience was born. It's not just a book. It's a whole moment — complete with purple smile glasses, a blue lollipop bouquet, and everything you need to make storytime feel like a celebration.
My hope is that every family who opens one of these boxes feels exactly what I felt when I first imagined it: pure joy, a little silliness, and the warmth of being truly present with the people you love most.
